SCS Forest Product's MC Pro 2000 Kiln Moisture Measurement System uses dielectric capacitance measurements to calculate the moisture content of the lumber as it dries. The Windows® based system is easily integrated with existing kiln controllers and determines the optimum time to end each run, increasing throughput and productivity. Each of the system's eight user configurable measuring points uses two stainless steel plates inserted into the lumber package providing a simple robust sensor solution.
