MC Pro 1500
SCS Transverse Sawmill Meter
The MC Pro 1500 is used in the sawmill to pre-sort green lumber for kiln drying. The system uses contact sensors above and below the wood to measure moisture and density to determine a dryability index number. Results are passed to the sorter so that wet or dry boards are aggregated for optimized kiln charges.

MC Pro 2000
In- Kiln Moisture Meter
The MC Pro 2000 measures the moisture content of lumber as it dries in a kiln charge. Using two plates inserted into various lumber packages in a kiln charge, the system determines the optimum time to end each run based on the moisture content of those packages. The moisture data is passed to the kiln controller for shutdown.

Using innovative digital pulse technology, the MC Pro 2400 takes multiple measurements of a board as it passes over its non-contact sensors.
